I kept getting this question wrong on the final test. I changed the answer every time and it was still wrong and you didn't give the correct answer. Apparently it is none of them.
If the brake shoe wears excessively, and the slack adjuster is not adjusted either manually by the driver or automatically?
Select one or more:

Slack adjusters provide a means of keeping the brakes in adjustment when the brake shoes wear due to normal braking situations. If the vehicle is fitted with manual slack adjusters, the driver must adjust the brakes to bring these within tolerance. Most modern air brake equipped vehicles are fitted with automatic slack adjusters and will adjust for slack automatically. Still, air brake systems must be checked daily for proper adjustment. If the shoes wear excessively, only by checking push rod travel, will a driver know the brakes are out of adjustment.
