Stopping in Traffic

Stop in traffic so you can see the tires of the vehicle in front making clear contact with the pavement.

Following Other Traffic

Follow other traffic at a minimum of 2 seconds following distance. As road condtions deteriorate increase your following distance.

Stopping at intersections

1) Stop before the STOP line;

2) Stop before the crosswalk line or sidewalk;

3) Stop at the edge where the 2 roads meet.

Turning with Pedestrians

Leave one lane of space between your vehicle and pedestrians if the pedestrians is walking away from you. More if the pedestrian is approaching you.

Do not block intersections.
